Blagajnica za devet mjeseci izgubila čak 50 kilograma

Kate Writer, prodavačica iz New South Walesa u Australiji otkrila je kako joj je pošlo za rukom izgubiti nevjerovatnih 50-ak kilograma u samo devet mjeseci i to bez pomoći kirurgije.

25-godišnja Kate nabacila je silne suvišne kilograme nakon što je upoznala svog zaručnika, 28-godišnjeg Nicka Jonesa te otkrila da dijele strast za brzom hranom iz dostave.

U najtežoj fazi, imala je čak 120 kilograma i redovito bi jela po dvije večere – jednu naručenu iz restorana s brzom hranom i drugu pripremljenu kod kuće.

Today I had a pretty big mental win ?? I haven't tracked my food/macros/calories properly or weighed myself for the last 3 days (this is only half the win…). Now I know 3 days may seem like nothing to a lot of people, or may even seem too frequent for some people, but for me-someone who has weighed themselves almost everyday for literally 3 years-that's a pretty big deal! ?? Now the real win came this morning, when despite being extremely hesitant to get on those scales, I stepped on to see the number was the exact same as 3 days ago…no less and no more ? Again, this may seem obsessive to some people that I even care what the scales say, but with my weightloss journey and my background I will always place some kind of value on the scales, whether I like it or not. For me when I saw that the number hadn't budged (despite eating out multiple times, having bigger portions than usual and being a little more “carefree”) I was pretty relieved. It made me start to realize that I can eat intuitively, I can maintain my weight when I don't weigh every gram of food, I can make the right choices when eating out and that I can enjoy life without worrying of “going back” to my before picture. This is a pretty big step towards me eating intuitively more often (I'm thinking maybe one or two days a week) and not stressing about tracking macros perfectly everyday. – Sometimes it takes stepping out of your comfort zone to realize how far you've actually come mentally ??

Tada su počeli i zdravstveni problemi: otečeni zglobovi, bolna leđa. Odlučila je smanjiti unos kalorija i krenuti s rigoroznim vježbanjem. Uspjelo joj je smršaviti za čak pet konfekcijskih brojeva, a nova linija nagnala ju je i da promijeni posao pa je nastavila školovanje i zaposlila se kao učiteljica.

– Uvijek sam voljela hranu i nikad nisam bila mršavica. I u školi sam bila bucmasta. Moja mama je jako dobro kuhala i oduvijek sam uživala u njezinim jelima. Nakon što sam upoznala Nicka to se dodatno pogoršalo. Zajedno bismo jeli sklupčani na kauču ispred televizora, priča Kate.

I was always kind of strategic with photos when I was overweight-I tried to keep my poses as “flattering” as possible, I tried to “suck in” and I just deleted pictures as soon as I saw them after a night out. Sure, I didn't love seeing myself in photos, but I was a confident girl who was never picked on because of her weight…I knew I was “big” and I really didn't let it get to me. – I am definitely still the same girl with the same outgoing personality, but I now have a real zest for life, I am way less self conscious, I have more energy, I can buy “normal” clothes, I am strong, I am fit and I am truly happy. – Sure I still have my moments when I feel chubby, flabby and heavy but pictures like this put everything in perspective. This is achievable for every single one of you! There are no quick fixes or magic products that will get these results. It takes plenty of exercise, good nutrition, constant motivation and a willingness to put in the hard yards in order to see change. – Tag someone who needs some motivation and show that that it can be done ????

– Osim toga, često smo izlazili, a redovito sam i pila. Višak kilograma uopće mi nije smetao, no onda su počeli zdravstveni problemi i znala sam da moram nešto poduzeti.

Kate je smanjila porcije i kilogrami su se počeli topiti. Shvatila je koliko je zapostavljala vlastito tijelo i krenula vježbati. S vremenom se, kaže, navikla na vježbanje i ono joj je postalo zadovoljstvo.

– Željela sam izgubiti kilograme na prirodan način bez operacije. Prvo sam svu masnu hranu zamijenila povrćem, a zatim počela vježbati svaki dan. Nakon devet mjeseci težila sam 65 kilograma i stala u konfekcijski broj 10.

Kate je postala pravi fitness fanatik. Vježba svaki dan bez pauze i to po dva sata dnevno.

Svoj put od debeljuce do sportski građene pobornice zdravog života dokumentira i na Instagramu na kojem je prati 43 hiljade ljudi.

– Kad me vide, ljudi automatski pomisle da sam bila na operaciji. Ali nisam. Želim inspirirati i druge žene da krenu mojim stopama i dovedu svoje tijelo u red jer ako sam ja mogla – može svako. Zapravo je vrlo jednostavno: treba jesti manje i zdravije, a vježbati više, kaže Kate.
