Nova plus-size ljepotica osvaja svijet

Candice Huffine, 32-godišnja plus size manekenka, ukrasila je nedavno naslovnicu meksičkog izdanja Vogue, a sada i američkog Elle-a. Mnogi je vide kao konkurenciju Ashley Graham, koja je inače najpopularnija plus-size manekenka na svijetu.

Iako se okrutni modni svijet donedavno zgražao nad takvim oblinama, činjenica jest kako je Ashley otvorila vrata brojnim takvim ženama, da pronađu svoje mjesto pod modnim suncem.

“Otkad znam za sebe, sanjala sam da budem model. Moje tijelo nije savršenih proporcija, ali odbijala sam slušati osobe koje su mi govorile da to ne mogu postati te sam neumorno radila. Nadam se da će ova naslovnica poslužiti kao simbol svakome ko vjeruje da može”, napisala je Candice na Instagramu.

Nju na Instagramu trenutno prati 172.000 ljudi, a za njenu karijeru brine se poznata agencija IMG Models.

Long story long…I had an amazing day working and chatting with @madeupbylauren with whom I spilled all of my deepest goals for 2017. I mentioned how there was so much I wanted to do and create and that I was a little scared and needed to know how to basically just “JUMP”, as we called it. Next thing you know this literal sign from @thegivingkeys showed up to set for me bearing a word that you are meant to bring into your life. I am very grateful for today and not leaving any second of it to chance- I believe all events happened for a reason and I promise that when I do jump in heart first and crush all my goals without abandon, I will pass on my key to someone else who needs it just as it was intended!
